I’ve been accused of running a “Ponzi scheme” but believe I did nothing wrong. What do I do?
If you’ve been charged or accused of running a Ponzi scheme basically a Ponzi scheme is where somebody takes money from future investors to pay off current investors.
If you’ve been accused of a Ponzi scheme basically you’re being accused of fraud that you misled investors to invest in some type of property and by taking their money you pay off returns to other investors.
So if you’ve been accused of this type of offense you definitely need to consult with an experienced attorney in federal court and/or state court to help you show that all your representations that you made to the investors were legitimate, you did not mislead them in any way and that the returns that you promised or were given to them were legitimate reasonable returns and you did not mislead them in any way, shape or form.
